The Messy Joys of Grandkids

Before my son and his wife moved, I used to see my grandchildren at least twice a week. My granddaughter was about 4 years old, and my grandson was 2 years old. They were always so excited to see grandma and grandpa and would climb all over us as soon as we sat down! The kids would hug us and slobber all over us.
When one grandkid caught a cold or got sick in any way, the other had it almost immediately. They would climb up on my lap, smiling at me with their runny noses, and cough straight into my face. No matter how hard I tried to avoid this spit, it always ended up on my face! They loved their grandpa so much! But they had no idea that I had a weak immune system and that they were going to get me sick. They just wanted to be close to me. The visit always went easier if they stayed on my lap and let me read a story to them; but sometimes they wouldn't sit long enough, and I had to get on the floor and play with them. By the time we left, I was exhausted and almost certain I had caught something from them.
As soon as I got home, I looked up soundpainmanagement.com. Their common cold pain management has easy to use and I put on the headphones.
This has been a big relief for me. Not just from seeing the grandkids, but I also use Sound Pain Management when I have been out in public. One less thing to worry about.
